  • Have Family Coming To Stay For The HOLIDAYS? These Are The GOOD Streaming Apps To Setup For Them

Streaming is all the rage these days and if you have family coming to stay with you chances are they no longer love their cable setup at home and are getting used to streaming…  so hook them up for under $40 with all the best apps at your place.

    HBO Max

    only $14.99/mo

HBO Max is the best of both worlds.  It’s all of the premium HBO with some of the best licensed content including The Big Bang Theory and South Park.  Everything’s included including 4K Wonder Women 1984 which launches on the app for free the same day it’s in theaters.

    Netflix and Hulu

    staring at $8.99/mo and $59.99/yr

Still these two apps have the lion’s share of the content these days.  Some of the Hulu Originals are actually must watch titles.  Both have a commercial free option (Netflix base plan is commercial free of course).

    Pluto TV

    $0/mo

No fees in sight with this 250+ Live TV channel app.  The channels are all good, you can switch from Country Music Videos from CMT to Tosh.O to Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.  It’s unlimited and no credit card needed.

    Youtube

$0/mo (commercial free family share option $17.99)

Youtube can keep you entertained all day long easily.  Millions of content creators share their content on this platform and some of it is the best new content that day!

    Frndly TV

    $5.99/mo

Hallmark Channels for Christmas are a must and this cheap service has all three channels with a bonus 15 channels including The Weather Channel.  HD and DVR upgrades are available for just $2/mo or $4/mo.

BONUS > Ditch Cable and Add Live TV with upgraded Hulu or Youtube TV

    $65/mo

Both Hulu with Live TV and Youtube TV will replace your cable lineup with a cheaper cost of $65/mo.  Fubo TV, Vidgo TV, ATT TV, Sling TV, and now TMobile all offer large cable like packages surrounding ESPN as well.
