  • HBO Max Now Has 4k – These Are The Initial Supported 4k DEVICES

HBO Max is offering the new Wonder Women movie for free (with subscription) in 4k.  Thankfully they don’t have a surcharge tier like Netflix for 4k content, meaning if you have the equipment needed for 4k, you can watch some HBO Max content like Wonder Women for free in 4k.

Unfortunately HBO Max is not yet able to support all 4k devices including PS5/PS4 and Xbox’s even though almost all of these can output 4k in the app store.

HBO Max has stated future plans to support additional devices including Xbox and Playstation but for launch day of 4k content these are the devices they got working well enough to open the flood gates of usage to everyone.
